the Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival

gives the public the opportunity to visit the studios and meet with the artists. There will be artists practising their art works at the Art Alive on Saturday. The Festival Art Prize Exhibition & Grant including the miniatures will be on both days in the Community Hall (Library building).

Skye Zaracostas will be the featured artist at the art prize exhibition this year. Skye won the Festival the Artist Grant.

Studio Open Days

The studios will be open for the Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival Saturday/Sunday  2nd /3rd April 2016. Studio artists will be available between 10am – 4pm to sell works directly to the public.

You may make arrangements to meet any of the artists Judy Bourke, Kendal Heyes, Skye Zaracostas, Garry Jones or Maylee Jones over this time,

The artist in residence studio will also be open for visitors.  Come and say hello to Graham Sinclair our present artist in residence

Mary Wingrave, Kendal Heyes and Judy Bourke have work in this exhibition. the exhibition continues for August 2015.  Entry to NSW Parliament House is via the security entrance in Macquarie Street, Sydney.

Julia and Murphy showed their works to visitors to the studio during the Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival.

 Julia Stjepanovic completed her residency as part of the Made in Wollongong Program funded by a grant from Wollongong City Council.

Murphy Bouma is busy working in the  AIR studio. She is about half way through her residency.

The BAST studios will be open for the Thirroul Seaside and Arts Festival on Saturday and Sunday 21st and 22nd March 2015. Artists will be on hand to discuss their works.

Barracks Art Studios Thirroul is offering two, three month residencies to local artists with a small exhibition at the end of the residency period.

There will be a reduced studio rental and small amount of money for art materials.

Suitable for Painters, Sculptors, printmakers and writers

$30.00 pw for three months
