Nature is my muse and my landscape-inspired abstracts aim to capture something of its poetry. I’m interested in re imagining the forms, colours and textures of remembered landscapes in a process that is more about discovering than about making – an exploration to find intuitively a hybrid kind of order that resonates. I’ve been painting for over 20 years and have exhibited extensively in galleries and art fairs in New Zealand (where I spent most of my life) and since moving to the Illawarra five years ago am now exhibiting regularly in Australia.
